Bloomberg Industry Group seeks podcast producer

This role is for an Audio Producer who wants to put out high quality audio productions on tight deadlines.

We’re looking for someone who is experienced in fast turnaround productions, enthusiastic about Bloomberg Industry Group’s reporting, and excited about all forms of podcasting. The primary duties of the role involve recording, editing, and distributing Bloomberg Industry Group’s weekly news interview podcasts, which include Cases and Controversies, Talking Tax, and Parts Per Billion.

The audio producer will also be responsible for assisting with other audio productions, including radio interview recordings. We’re looking for someone with a sharp sense of the podcast landscape and creative ideas for how to enhance our current slate of podcasts.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
