What you will do:

  • Set coverage priorities for your team, determining which are the most important stories of the day and bringing resources to the coverage to ensure we own those stories.
  • Coordinate with others to get graphics or videos where appropriate, leverage data, and ensure appropriate newsletter coverage, all to ensure our top stories are presented in the best way possible.
  • Work with reporters who are assigned to the stories of the day to ensure they produce quality journalism.
  • Help your team develop the muscles needed to deliver real-time news.
  • Develop strategies to bring more eyeballs to our content. This includes coordinating with our counterparts at Bloomberg News.

You need to have:

  • 7 years’ experience as an editor and manager in a news role.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Effective change management skills and ability to help drive the group.
