Bloomberg BNA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bloomberg and publisher of legal and regulatory information, seeks a Correspondent – C2 based in Los Angeles covering full range of news for all BBNA titles with emphasis on legal, regulatory, and legislative news from southern California.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report, interview, and write news articles for a variety of BBNA notification services within assigned beat and coverage area.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years’ of journalism experience, including daily reporting experience; knowledge of journalistic principles and techniques, including AP style skills; knowledge of federal and state legislative, regulatory, and judicial processes; ability to suggest and develop articles with specific guidance from appropriate managing editors; ability to write news stories and features (including complex and/or analytical pieces); and ability to meet daily and routine deadlines. College-level coursework in areas related to BBNA coverage (i.e., journalism, environment, economics, public health policy), or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s preferred.
