BizTimes Media including the BizTimes Milwaukee magazine, special events and the website, is seeking a smart, energetic, self-starting reporter to cover startup/entrepreneurs, technology and banking/finance.

Founded in 1995 and locally owned and operated, BizTimes Media serves southeastern Wisconsin business leaders with the news, features and operational insights they value most. Our workplace environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and everyone wears multiple hats. We rely on each other every day, so collaboration, flexibility and teamwork and mutual respect are key values.

BizTimes Milwaukee is more than a magazine. We are a media company with multiple distribution channels. We produce:

  • BizTimes Milwaukee, a bi-weekly business news and features magazine serving southeastern Wisconsin;

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
