BMJ began just six months ago, and has doubled in traffic every month. Our goal is to become the most trusted name in New Finance, making the world of blockchain investing accessible to the everyday investor.
Our editorial voice is less technical, more practical: we want to explain these complicated technologies in plain English, in a tone that’s light and humorous (think DOS for Dummies).
We have a skilled team of journalists and analysts currently producing content using our in-house content production platform. The machine is running well; we need someone to oversee its rapid growth.
We are looking for an editor who can find, develop, assign, and edit original news stories and analyst reports in a fast-moving industry. You will be responsible for overseeing a large quantity of original content, while maintaining the highest level of quality and integrity.
You’ll need familiarity with the blockchain investing space, a hunger to learn, and an agility to grow and improve. You’ll do well to read our Culture Document, which helps attract the type of people who thrive at our parent company Media Shower.
Specific activities of the role include:
– Assigning news stories and informational articles based on reader interest and search demand
– Assigning analyst reports based on highly-rated Initial Coin Offerings
– Developing original stories, based on proprietary data from our research team
– Developing new research and education products to grow the business
– Crafting and maintaining our unique editorial tone, voice, and style
For those of us pioneering the world of New Finance, this is the most exciting time to be alive, and this is the best job to see the industry up close.
Our ideal candidate is available for a full-time role in Boston. Please apply via our Media Shower application page and mention that you are applying for the Bitcoin Market Journal Managing Editor position:
