BBC World seeks senior journalist reporter

BBC World Service is looking for a senior journalist reporter to cover economy and business-related stories globally for a Russian speaking audience.

As a reporter, you will originate, research, produce, present and deliver multimedia output, primarily digital in nature. You will also choose appropriate formats and make stories relevant and interesting for the Russian speaking audience.

You will also broadcast materials in Russian or English if required.

SKILLS:

  • Significant experience covering economy and business stories
  • Russian as first or equivalent language, fluent English
  • Wide and up-to-date familiarity with the history, politics, social issues and culture of BBC Russian’s target area
  • Good writing and story-telling skills
  • Experience of live broadcasting
