Barron’s Group seeks senior video producer

Barron’s Group is hiring for a senior video producer.

DUTIES:

  • Responsible for booking guests across Barron’s and Marketwatch for video, TV and audio projects include MarketBrief or other video shows, Barron’s Roundtable or other TV shows, and a daily markets podcast
  • Responsible for the execution of a live or live to tape bi-weekly markets show (approximately 10 mins in length) with the potential of moving to a daily show
  • Coordinate the day-to-day workflow including ideation and content creation, scheduling, guest booking, scripting, crew coordination and post-production
  • Ensure that all elements are delivered on time and on budget and run meetings, make assignments and set deadlines
  • Write news script for daily markets podcasts and work with the Barron’s and MarketWatch newsrooms and assigned editors to ensure accuracy and quality of the video and audio content

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ experience producing daily live TV/video including directing talent and managing multiple elements
  • Ability to write scripts, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work and solve problems under deadline pressure
  • Strong communication, written and collaboration skills
  • Interest, understanding and experience in financial markets coverage
