The Bangor Daily News, an innovative, award-winning and family-owned digital media company, has an immediate opening for an ambitious reporter covering news in Belfast, Maine.
We’re looking for a fast-moving reporter to cover breaking news and the biggest stories in Belfast and the surrounding area. This creative, destination community is full of interesting stories and curious characters. The position is part of a team of reporters dedicated to producing direct, honest, comprehensive and compelling local reporting of changing communities along Maine’s coast.

- You have a track record of landing important scoops in a fast-paced, competitive news environment.

- You are a savvy digital news consumer comfortable presenting information in different formats — from straight-up news stories to analyses and explainers.
