Duties
This is a hybrid position that combines reporting, writing and editing. The AE is in charge of special publications that include Best Places to Work, 40 Under 40 and more. He or she also is in charge of coordinating several elements in the print paper, including the small business section, Out&About and List Extra. He or she will oversee the production of the print paper each week, ensuring that pages are properly proofed before heading to printer.
Skills
The ideal candidate has excellent editing, reporting and writing skills, lots of ideas and a keen eye for strong design. You must be a team player who enjoys the collaborative environment of a newsroom. Knowledge of social media, multimedia and video editing is a plus.
Experience
At least three years in a newsroom setting.
Education
