Baltimore Business Journal seeks associate editor

The Baltimore Business Journal, an award-winning daily online and weekly print edition, is looking for an associate editor in charge of our special publications and several key aspects of our print and online editions.

The ideal candidate has excellent editing, reporting and writing skills, lots of ideas and a keen eye for strong design. This is a hybrid position that combines reporting, writing and editing. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a rapidly changing media environment and in a very busy and fast-paced newsroom. Knowledge of social media is a must.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
