Ballantine Communications has an opening for a reporter to help cover Farmington and San Juan County for the Tri-City Record, an up-and-coming local news entity. Stories can range from covering outdoors to housing and public safety.
The reporter may also occasionally need to help cover sports or help with sports photography, as coverage of San Juan County’s eight high school teams and the Connie Mack World Series baseball tournament dominate the area.

Please email five (5) samples of your work, including at least one breaking news story, at least one feature story and either a sports JPEG photo or sports feature story, to Senior Editor Trent Stephens at tstephens@tricityrecordnm.com or at tstephens@the-journal.com.
