APG Media of Southern Wisconsin is seeking a full-time, in-person News and Production Editor to take the lead on daily production of several of our print newspapers.
This is a management-level position based in our Watertown, Wisconsin, office and with time also spent in our Watertown, Wisconsin office. The position reports directly to APG Southern Wisconsin’s regional editor in Janesville, Wisconsin.
The ideal candidate would have a year or more of demonstrated success managing news reporters and leading a newsroom and demonstrated success managing a print newspaper process.
Rock-solid news and managerial judgment and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are key. This position works Sunday through Thursday, from early-afternoon to mid-evening, with Friday and Saturday off.
