The Waseca County News is seeking a reporter to write news stories for its weekly print edition and online website.
The reporter should be comfortable covering all types of news, including local government, events, features, hard news, breaking news and more. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a strong communicator, who is willing and able to get out in the community and make their presence felt.
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a journalism related field is recommended but not required. Writing experience is necessary.
The reporter will be expected to live in or near the community being covered.
