The American Press Institute is looking to hire a paid summer intern to learn about audience engagement and help the organization share best practices in audience analytics.
API is looking for college students or recent graduates who have an interest in the news industry, think about newsrooms and audience engagement and are willing to learn about journalism and its various tools.
As an intern, you will be working with the Metrics for News team. Additionally, you will also be identifying patterns in audience data, talking with partner newsrooms and sharing wider lessons on how to better audience engagement.
This is a full-time 12-week internship with a $9,000 stipend based out of API’s office in the D.C. area.
