The Albany Business Review is seeking a dynamic reporter who is in journalism for the thrill that comes with breaking news, owning a beat and the satisfaction of writing meaningful enterprise.
The Albany Business Review covers government from the outside looking in, concentrating on reporting how the actions of government affects small business, with an emphasis on taxes, regulation and economic development policy. When we do cover politics it is through the prism of how it impacts business.
That said, our priority is finding the right reporter for our newsroom more than a government reporter, and we may realign our beat structure to match up the reporter’s interests with the needs of our readers.
