Al Jazeera America seeks executive producer for business

SUMMARY:

Produce business segments and programs and liaise with news desks for global coverage needs. Manage graphics production and liaise with gallery staff. Edit scripts for business programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To lead business coverage editorially
  • To produce accurate, balanced, well produced, viewer focused business programs
  • To ensure AJ content and coverage is consistent with AJN standards and goals
  • To manage, motivate teams
  • To originate and develop news and strands

EDUCATION:

  • BA Required

  •  Experience in a newsroom as a senior business journalist

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill.
