San Antonio Business Journal seeks digital producer

The San Antonio Business Journal, part of American City Business Journals is seeking a digital producer for the daily management of online content. The digital producer will own the execution of the online content strategy across multiple platforms and products, including web, email and mobile. The editor will also be responsible to craft timely and compelling products that drive loyal engagement, grow audiences and extend the Business Journal brand in the digital space.

Additionally, the digital editor will work with reporters, track metrics, report and write original content, produce interactive features, support reporters and editors, work cooperatively and collaboratively and rake on any other assignment made by managers.

Candidates must possess good reporting and writing skills, HTML skills, keen interest in what is new, thorough knowledge of how to harness the power of social media and other relevant skills.

Applicants must have a bachelors degree or equivalent, digital reporting experience, robust social media user, business reporting and two to three years’ experience in an online news operation.
