Power Poll was founded in 2019 as a civic engagement platform that brings together the most influential and powerful leaders across business, civic, media and political industries. We survey, hold conversations with, and engage our members to understand their collective positions, opinions, and thought leadership on critical issues. Power Poll publishes what America’s leadership is thinking to create solutions and bring action to these problems, challenges, and opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE- REPORTERS & WRITERS

  • Seeking trusted, non-partisan, well-known, experienced, fact-focused reporters/writers
  • Expert knowledge of political, business, and social leadership in their cities
  • Keep their hands on the heartbeats of their cities
  • Excellent copywriters
  • Freelancers are preferred but can come from existing media entity

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  •  Your cover letter should explain why you are the best candidate to cover/write about politics, business, or social leadership;
  • There should be a summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits
  • Please attach your strongest clips or links to published work
  • Attach a resume detailing your writing experience.

COMPENSATION

  •  $500 for a 1,200-word story. If hired, it is recommended that you discuss/negotiate the rate individually with the advertiser.
