Fortune hires Gerut as West Coast news editor

Fortune magazine has hired Amanda Gerut as West Coast editor for news. Gerut previously was associate editor of Agenda Week, where she worked for more than 13 years. She was also reporter, associate editor and managing editor for BoardIQ, a Financial Times publication. Gerut holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from New York University.
