Vivian Salama has joined CNN as national security correspondent. She will be based in CNN’s Washington bureau.
Previously, Salama was a White House reporter for The Wall Street Journal. Before that, she was a political reporter NBC News. Prior to joining NBC News, Vivian was a White House reporter and national security/foreign policy reporter for The Associated Press.
She also held the post of Middle East correspondent for Bloomberg LP. She also has experience working freelance.
Salama has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Islamic Politics from Columbia University. She also is a J.D. in international law from Georgetown University Law Center.
