Axios is hiring a tech editor to oversee the company’s technology vertical. The reporter will work closely with the technology managing editor to guide Axios’ coverage of the collision of technology, business and politics in a rapidly changing landscape.
Some other duties would include overseeing daily coverage, editing, reporting and writing stories and managing a team of 3 to 5 journalists.
Candidates must have experience working in a fast-paced news environment, strong knowledge of the technology beat, experience working across teams to produce quality content, ability to assign and manage multiple stories at once and excellent written and verbal skills.
