Leigh Giangreco is a correspondent covering defense contracting for Capitol Forum, is leaving the news organization.
Her last day is Thursday. She has been with Capitol Forum since January 2018.
“I plan on freelancing while looking for a gig that focuses on style/culture, something I’ve always liked covering,” she wrote on Twitter.
Giangreco covered issues related to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Prior to joining The Capitol Forum, Giangreco reported on military aviation in the Americas for FlightGlobal, a British aerospace magazine, and US Air Force procurement for Inside Defense.
She previously covered the Delaware beaches as a community reporter for Gannett and interned in USA Today’s investigative unit while a student at American University.
