Matthew Dolan, an investigative reporter for the Detroit Free Press, is taking a leave of absence from the organization.
He will join Harvard University as an Abrams Neiman Fellow for Investigative Journalism. He has been with the Free Press since 2015. He will be returning to the Detroit Free Press in 2020.
Prior to his role at the Free Press, Dolan was a staff writer for the Wall Street Journal from 2008 to 2015.
He graduated from Cornell University in 1993.
