LinkedIn has hired Jordyn Dahl to cover small business from its San Francisco office.
On LinkedIn, Dahl wrote, “My passion has always been writing and reporting, but I also knew coming to the Bay Area that I wanted to go into tech. LinkedIn is the best of both worlds. I’m very excited to be getting back to my roots as I started out my career as a journalist covering small businesses in Colorado. I look forward to telling the stories of small businesses from all over the United States and cultivating conversations around the issues they are facing.”
Dahl previously covered technology and startups as a contributor for Forbes based in Beijing.
Her last position before coming back to the United States was working as an editor in Beijing at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, which is a foreign policy think tank. She interned for the New York Times while in Beijing and has freelanced for MIT Tech Review since returning to the U.S.
