Collin Krabbe has been hired as the technology reporter at Albuquerque Business First, an American City Business Journals paper.
Krabbe writes, “On Sunday the 13th, I left the place that I’ve called home for the last four years, Columbia, Missouri, and began the 14-hour drive to Albuquerque after nearly finishing my bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri. I’ll be an official graduate after finishing up an online course over the summer, but most of my efforts will be spent learning as much as possible about this city and all that it has to offer. And I expect to have a blast in the process.
“Throughout my time in college, I learned about various aspects of the reporting process and areas of journalism. From reporting and writing to visual production, I aimed to cast as wide a net as possible. This most recent semester, I spent my time working on creating a social media campaign for the Massachusetts-based Berkshire Edge, creating a video about India Pale Ales and working part-time as a staff photographer for the Jefferson City News Tribune, a nearby daily newspaper. These experiences taught me how to tell stories in several different fashions, whether it be through a camera lens or on paper. I’m confident in my ability to not only divulge relevant information, but to present it to you in a captivating manner.”
