The Wall Street Journal is looking for a reporter to cover cybersecurity for a new specialist newsletter aimed at executives and board members.
Cybersecurity is a rising concern for companies amid a steady flow of hacking incidents, a rising toll of costs, and increased attention on the issue from regulators. Companies recognize the risk but executives are short of guidance on practical steps they need to take to prepare and respond to cyber crimes.
We’re looking for a writer with a sophisticated knowledge of cybersecurity but also the ability to explain the significance and practical impact of cyber news for this audience. The writer will be the leading voice in daily commentary and regular analytical and explanatory articles, working alongside a colleague in a similar role.
We will also look for this writer to be a public face of the product, which will include taking a leading role in a program of regular live and virtual events.
