Sebastian Mallaby, the author of “The Man Who Knew: The Life and Times of Alan Greenspan,” is the winner of the 2016 Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award.

It was presented Tuesday to Mallaby at a ceremony at The National Gallery in London by Lionel Barber, editor of the Financial Times and chair of the panel of judgesMallaby is the Paul A. Volcker senior fellow for international economics at the Council on Foreign Relations and contributing columnist at the Washington Post. Formerly, he was a contributing editor for the Financial Times and a columnist and editorial board member at the Washington Post.
