CBSNews.com is seeking a data editor/producer for its MoneyWatch section. Duties include reporting and creating data-driven stories, graphics and videos for a national audience that wants to know how the latest financial news affects their lives as consumers, workers and investors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent news judgment, strong writing skills and strong graphic-creation skills. There should be a proven ability to find, clean and analyze data sets; to identify and create stories that matter to mass audiences; to craft engaging and shareable graphics, headlines and captions; and to deliver highly shareable visualizations of a story and its elements.
The role requires the ability to multi-task in a digital newsroom environment that values teamwork and appreciates colleagues who handle daily deadline pressures with aplomb. An understanding of SEO best practices and facility with social media are essential.

At least four years experience in journalism (or a journalism-related field)
