S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an Associate Editor for its Bank & Thrift news team. On a daily basis, you will edit for accuracy, style and content in news articles covering a range of topics, including M&A, executive moves, capital markets activity and regulation.
You will also help shape our coverage by contributing story ideas, vetting news leads and working with researchers to create interesting and useful charts and visuals. You will use your strong leadership skills to coach and mentor team members. You will suggest ways to improve our processes and coverage.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field
- 2-3 years of professional journalism experience
- Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Fluency in journalistic areas (AP style, libel issues, etc.) Strong editing skills a must.
