Law360 editor in chief Cat Fredenburgh and co-managing editor Christine Caulfield are leaving the company, reports Peter Sterne of Politico.
Anne Urda, previously co-managing editor, is replacing Fredenburgh as editor in chief.
Sterne writes, “Law360 general manager Scott Roberts announced Urda’s promotion in a staff-wide email:
“As our company continues to evolve and develop, I’d like to share some changes to the Law360 editorial department. I’m pleased to announce that effective immediately, Managing Editor Anne Urda will assume the role of Editor-In-Chief. In her new role, Anne will be responsible for all Editorial operations. Assistant Managing Editors, Copy Chiefs, and the Graphics Chief will report directly into Anne. Over the next week, Anne will be reaching out to discuss her ideas and vision with all of you.
“Anne joined Law360 in 2006 as a Reporter and progressed through the Editorial Department to her most recent position of Co-Managing Editor. She has been instrumental in building the new Law360 UK Bureau. Anne holds a BA in History from the College of William & Mary and holds a Masters in Journalism from NYU.”
