The successful candidate will run a small team of reporters in a fast-paced environment. He or she should have the ability to quickly drill down to the most important factors in what are often complicated issues, explaining Chinese monetary and economic policy to a global audience through both real-time coverage and reflective analytical stories.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable whether directing the coverage of others or generating his or her own stories; have experience on financial newswires; a good working knowledge of the Chinese economy and financial system; and will understand Mandarin.
