Charlotte-based American City Business Journals, which operates 43 business newspapers and websites across the country, held its annual editor’s meeting earlier this week and selected the best business journalism work in the past year by its papers.
The winners were selected by the editors, and the awards are now called the Editor’s Choice awards.

The Cincinnati Business Courier won for best audience engagement through its use of social media.
The Birmingham Business Journal won for best enterprise reporting.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times won for best visual storytelling.
The Washington Business Journal won for best data reporting.
