CNBC has appointed Nick Dunn as deputy managing editor of business news, according to an internal announcement Wednesday.
The move expands on Dunn’s role as lead guest booker for CNBC. He will now help coordinate and manage news coverage including story development, reporter assignments and specials planning.
Dunn has been executive editor of guests for the past three years. Prior to that, he was senior producer of “Squawk Box,” CNBC’s signature morning program, for six years.
Dunn joined CNBC in 1996. He graduated from Rollins College in Florida with a degree in political science. He is married to Darby Mullany, a former CNBC reporter.
