The Pensacola News Journal is looking for a business reporter who is a creative go-getter with sharp analytical chops to cover our diverse business community.
We aren’t all about the beaches, or the tourism industry, in Northwest Florida. From research and health care to a burgeoning aerospace and tech scene, the beat requires initiative, aggressive reporting, flexibility and critical thinking. Candidates should also have investigative and database skills and the ability to write succinct, creative articles.
Ideal candidates will have three to five years of experience covering business and should know their way around digital platforms. Reporters are regularly called on to shoot and edit video, participate in social media strategies and understand how to promote themselves and their content across platforms.
