Kira Bindrim of Crain’s New York Business reports Wednesday that business news and information sites BNET and Seeking Alpha have reached an agreement where they will swap content.
Bindrim writes, “Under the agreement, Seeking Alpha content, including excerpts from transcripts, will appear on BNET, and BNET news content will be linked on the Seeking Alpha site.
“The partnership, which gives BNET access to information on more than 3,000 companies, is a testament to growing interest in all things financial, as everyone from chief executives to everyday consumers casts a critical eye on the nation’s economy, and specifically on the major companies behind its current suffering.
“‘The information [that] company leaders share during earnings calls offers unique insight into the health of their business and their future plans, much more than can be gleaned from financial information alone,’ said Greg Mason, general manager of CBS Interactive’s business network, in a statement.”
