WSJ seeks municipal debt reporter

February 1, 2014

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal seeks an ambitious journalist eager to cover one of the most exciting beats in the Money & Investing group: municipal debt.

Between Detroit’s record bankruptcy and the troubles of Puerto Rico, the municipal bond market is anything but sleepy these days — it’s where the financial chaos is bubbling up all over the country.

Candidates must have experience reporting in financial markets, must understand what a bond is and must be able to break news, follow a hot story and write strong, complex features for prominent display on WSJ news platforms.

Please attach cover letter, resume and three to five published clips to your application.
