We are delighted to announce that two more of our bureaus in Europe are to operate as joint WSJ/DJN bureaus, feeding all platforms for the Journal, Newswires and FX trader.
First up is the Athens bureau under the leadership of Alkman Granitsas. As the euro crisis has exploded, Alkman and his team have already has been filing extensively for wires, online and print. Alkman will now report jointly to Terry Roth, Newswires EMEA money editor, and to Matt Murray, WSJ Foreign Editor.
Also the Zurich Bureau, led by Anita Greil, will be a joint bureau tasked with covering UBS and Credit Suisse, Nestlé, Switzerland’s status as a tax haven and a whole lot more for wires, online and print. Anita will report jointly to Gren Manuel, Newswires’ senior editor for EMEA, and to Matt.
We’re excited about these moves and look forward to even better coverage from A (Athens) to Z (Zurich).
