The North Bay Business Journal, which covers Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties in California, announced that it will be printed in a smaller size.
Editor Brad Bollinger writes, “First, with the paper size you see here today — about 1 1/2 inches shorter in depth — we are adopting what is becoming the standard in the newspaper industry.
“Secondly, this change – which includes some new design touches – coincides with the launch this month of a fully digital edition of the Business Journal.
“The digital edition, which will be available at NorthBayBusinessJournal.com, is exactly like the print version including news and advertising, allowing readers to turn page to page if they like or print a copy. It gives our print advertisers an instant presence on our website, where traffic increased 92 percent in 2010.”
