CNBC.com had its best month ever in terms of unique visitors and its best January ever in page views, according to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix.
The business news site site was visited by 6.6 million unique users last month, a 39 percent increase compared to the same time period last year, and recorded 312 million page views, a 32 percent increase year-over-year.
CNBC Mobile, which includes CNBC Mobile Web, CNBC’s iPhone app and CNBC Android app, cumulatively achieved a record 118 million page views across all of these products last month, a 66 million increase compared to the same time period as last year.
In January, CNBC Mobile Web attracted a record 1.9 million uniques and scored a record 67 million page views, a 47 percent increase year-over-year. CNBC’s iPhone app recorded 47 million page views, an 81 percent increase compared to January 2010, and crossed the 1 million download mark.
Users consumed a record 4.8 million page views on the CNBC Android app, launched April 2010, a 15 percent increase from the previous month.
CNBC.com is the No. 1 business news website in minutes per visitor, with users spending an average of 84 minutes on the site in January, the most in comScore’s Business/Finance – News/Research category.
