Lisa Bormaster, the publisher of the Dallas Business Journal, has resigned, effective Dec. 1.
A story on the paper’s site states, “A new Dallas publisher will be named soon, said Whitney Shaw, president and chief executive officer of American City Business Journals, which owns the Dallas Business Journal.
“Bormaster is considering career opportunities with ACBJ that will enable her to work out of Phoenix.
“‘In her nearly 20 years with American City, Lisa distinguished herself first as advertising director of our business journal in Washington, D.C., and then as a publisher in Austin, Minneapolis and Dallas,’ Shaw said.
“‘While I am disappointed that Lisa is stepping down as publisher in Dallas, I’m happy for her on a personal level. I fully understand and support her decision and look forward to working with her through this transition and beyond as she settles in Phoenix.'”
