The Society of American Business Editors and Writers will hold a conference call Wednesday for reporters looking for tips on covering banking.
The call will cover how new rules for the global banking industry will affect the health of banks, large and small, in the teletraining call, “Covering Banking: New Rules and Financial Health Outlook,” 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, Oct. 20.
The panel of top banking journalists includes Mark Davis, business writer for the Kansas City Star; and Jodi Schneider, community banking editor, Washington, D.C. bureau, American Banker. The moderator is Rick Rothacker, banking reporter, Charlotte Observer, and author of the 2010 book, “Banktown: The Rise and Struggles of Charlotte’s Big Banks.”
