The Puget Sound Business Journal in Seattle has hired Nick Pasion to cover technology.
Pasion writes, “I’ve spent the past few years bouncing between reporting and editing. I spent a summer in Pittsburgh covering everything from the fall of Roe v. Wade to a goat festival (of the barnyard variety, not the acronym). I spent another summer writing blogs and fact-checking features for Washingtonian Magazine.
“But for the past year, I’ve been inside, editing. I edited my student newspaper, The GW Hatchet, from our dinky townhouse-turned-office. From my bedroom, I worked remotely to edit news for the Palo Alto Weekly. And this summer, I moved to New York for a copy editing internship at The New York Times.
“I’m new to business journalism, but I’m excited to get back outside and start telling the stories of my hometown. And it couldn’t happen at a better time.”
