Christopher Lamb will join CNN in December as Vatican correspondent. He will be based between Rome and London.
Lamb said:
“I’m delighted to join such a respected, world-leading news media organization. I look forward to covering the Vatican and its impact on the world at a pivotal moment for the church, and to telling this story to CNN’s diverse and global audiences. I can’t wait to get started.”
He will join from The Tablet, where he has worked for more than a decade.
During this time, he held the posts of staff writer, assistant editor and Rome correspondent. Previously, he contributed to the BBC and News Corp, and was a reporter at The Telegraph.
He freelanced for the Mail on Sunday.
Lamb graduated from the University of Durham in England.
