The Las Vegas Review-Journal has promoted Allen Leiker to sports editor.
Leiker has served as an assistant sports editor since August 1990. In his new role, he succeeds Bill Eichenberger, who has joined Sportico as an editor (a move covered by TBN here).
Leiker joined the Review-Journal in November 1989 as a sports copy desk chief. He has also worked at the Topeka Capital-Journal and Mercury News.
