Hilary Moss, a senior editor on The New York Times Home team, has been appointed deputy editor, visuals. As per the Times:
“In this role, Hilary will be responsible for programming visual experiences across our desktop and mobile home screens, overseeing our daily presentation and working with desks to convey our most ambitious journalism, adding explanation, narration and visual vibrancy.”
Previously, Moss was a senior editor on the newsroom product team and also held the same role for the coronavirus live blog. She also worked as a staff editor for T Magazine.
Moss served as a fashion news editor at New York Magazine’s The Cut and freelanced as a web producer for The New York Times’ T Magazine.
She also worked as a style news editor at The Huffington Post.
Moss graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
