David Ewalt, who oversees tech and science coverage at The Messenger, writes about the new section of its website.
Ewalt writes, “We’re calling the section Tech because we believe that word shouldn’t just be about gadgets. The definition of ‘technology’ is the practical application of knowledge, and the capabilities that knowledge gives us: Our coverage aims to give you the knowledge you need to prepare for the future, whether it comes out of a university laboratory or a manufacturing line.
“Our Tech vertical is tasked with a mission to explain the innovations that will move the world forward. We hope to serve you by focusing on how things work, why things are changing, and what impact new innovations will have on real people’s lives.
“To do that, we’ve created a diverse team of journalists from different disciplines, but all focused on the future.”
