The New York Times has promoted Lauren Reddy to senior director, audience and editorial strategy, within the Projects and Initiatives group.
The Times reports:
“She has already hit the ground running in her new role, helping readers across our core platforms discover more journalism from our subscription brands by identifying opportunities for audience growth across channels, sharing key learnings across brands, and partnering with data and insights on measurement strategy.
“Previously, as audience director, Special Projects, Lauren crafted a process by which she set and managed audience expectations for innovative stories on our platform and for content on emerging platforms.
“Lauren participated in the newsroom’s culture and diversity initiative as a member of the audience workstream, helping to develop an approach and measurement strategy for that work.”
Prior to the Times, Reddy was a social media director at The Huffington Post. She also held the posts of digital marketing publicist and social media and publicity manager at Time Out Group.
Reddy has a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College in California.
