Bloomberg Law has hired Maia Spoto to be a reporter covering courts in Los Angeles.
They will start next month.
They have been an audience engagement producer at The Texas Tribune.
Spoto recently graduated from Northwestern University, where they were an investigations editor and senior staffer at The Daily Northwestern.
They also interned at Bloomberg Law and Chalkbeat.
