The Washington Post has named Missy Ryan its Pentagon correspondent. Recently, Ryan was a staff writer and State department correspondent.
Ryan joined the Post in October 2014 as a staff writer/Pentagon correspondent.
Before that, she worked at Thomson Reuters, where she held the posts of acting bureau chief for Mexico and Central America, Pentagon and Afghanistan-Pakistan correspondent and national security and US-Middle East correspondent.
Ryan has a B.A. from Georgetown University and a master’s degree from Harvard Kennedy School.
