The New York Times has appointed Liz Day to executive producer. In her new role, she will oversee the entire “New York Times Presents” documentary series.
An excerpt from the announcement reads:
Liz has had an outsize role in getting us to this fourth year of making documentaries for TV. Her many talents, and her infectious good cheer, should be known to all. She has been a powerhouse since our foray into TV began in 2018, leading the reporting and editorial vision of pretty much all of our very best films. Now we are asking her to help oversee the entire series.
Day has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Be sure to congratulate Day on Twitter.
